Although it looks like it could house any number of missiles, lasers, or other weapons, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Disk Launcher is meant strictly for card-based combat. Which isn't to say that the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game isn't exciting; it's phenomenal popularity can attest to that. This accessory, worn on the arm and modeled after the kind used by characters on the Yu-Gi-Oh! television show lets players lay cards out in either attack or defense positions and also features magic and trap card slots. It also features an illuminated number display and a disk that moves into a new dueling position at the push of a button. Perhaps not an ideal introduction to the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but probably a must-have item for the legion of faithful fans.
